Welcome!
My name is Marin. I am an out-going, independent, fun loving 61 year-old woman with M.S., who depends on 24/7 daytime and nighttime helpers. I live in a beautiful home in Brookline, Massachusetts with my service dog, Jake. My hope is that this website will introduce candidates interested in providing daytime or nighttime care to me, my dog, my home, and the requirements of the position. I have three main categories of helpers: daytime, weekend nights, and a live-in residency exchange, each with their own responsibilities and compensations. You can click on the tabs above to explore any of these availabilities – thanks for looking!
A Little Bit About Me
I don't think of myself as a patient, and my identity/world is so much larger than my having a disability. I am a native New Yorker, and I have a strong passion and interest in many things: being outside in nature, cooking, reading, nutrition, spirituality, movies, travel, art, and bodywork, to name a few. All my helpers agree that I am fun to hang out with, generous, and very communicative. They also enjoy all the wonderful friends, healers and helpers who come by. I see this job as a mutually beneficial partnership, and not a caregiving position per se. Many helpers have become long-lasting friends.
